Why is pad printing ideal for my ceramic part?
Pad printing is ideal for three-dimensional ceramic parts since it offers a clean transfer of the image onto the ceramic part by a silicone pad. This pad is flexible so it can wrap around to not distort the image, given some size restrictions. The image is transferred to the part from ink-filled etched images in a printing plate and allows for extremely fine detail and tight multicolor registration is readily achievable with pad printing.
